The Evolution of a Baby’s Room – Phase 3

Phase 3 of Mace’s nursery happened this week. The day after we found out about our boy we ordered all of the necessary items for his “Star Wars Chic” room. Hey, I know he’s Luke’s son and therefore must have a Star Wars nursery, but he’s my son as well and because of that it will be chic and classy. 🙂

We are so blessed to have Luke’s mom who is an AMAZING seamstress! She came over for a few days this week and went to work on Phase 3 of Mace’s room… Drapes and Bedding.

Who knew making drapes could involve so much math!! Once we had the game plan of how we were going to make these Mae Mae went to work on measuring, cutting, ironing, and sewing.

Cousin Aly helped as well!

After drapes it was on to the bedding. We got really inventive with some Star Wars twin sheets. And once again more cutting and sewing resumed, this time at 1:00am in the morning!

We are so happy with how Mace’s room is turning out. We can’t wait to finish it up next week (after 8 Easter services!!) and finally show you guys the finished product!
