“The hand of the Lord has done this…”

That’s a wrap!!

13 weeks after we started our fundraising journey to bring Our Baby home we are completely funded!!

It has been amazing to watch God work throughout this entire process. 13 weeks ago we were looking at an empty Africa and needed $22,550. Today, we are looking at a full Africa! A true picture of God’s faithfulness in our lives!

This afternoon we received an email from the JSC Foundation. Several months ago we submitted an application for a grant through this foundation and today we found out that we have received that grant! When added to the money we have already raised this completely funds our adoption!!

Before we started this journey God gave us the life verse of Isaiah 41:20 for this baby…

“so that people may see and know,
may consider and understand,
that the hand of the Lord has done this,
that the Holy One of Israel has created it.”

God has once again shown that He is the one in control of this adoption and Our Baby’s life. He is the one who brought all the money we needed to bring Our Baby home, even before we had a referral. Our prayer throughout this journey and Our Baby’s life has always been that without a shadow of a doubt people would be able “to see and know, consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this” not the hand of Luke and April or any other man. $22,550 in 13 weeks. That’s the hand of the Lord!
